If you love tennis, then this is the quiz for you. Over 1650 multiple-choice questions covering all aspects of tennis, including famous (and not so famous) players, tournaments, statistics, rules and the history of the game. All questions relate to the open era (1968 to present).
For every question you answer correctly, you win a point (a winner). For every question you answer incorrectly (an unforced error), your opponent (i.e. the app) wins a point. The scoring replicates a tennis tiebreak - the first one to 7 points, by a margin of 2 clear points, wins the tiebreak. The questions become harder as the tiebreak nears its conclusion. Be warned - some of the questions are very difficult.
After you select your answer, the correct answer will turn green, with an incorrect answer turning red. Some text explaining the answer appears below the multiple choice options so you can increase your knowledge of tennis.
There is no time limit for each question, so take as long as you need to work out the correct answer.
The settings tab lets you be in control of which questions are asked - you can choose the era the questions are from (pre-2000 or 2000 to present day), whether you are asked questions about mens or womens tennis, and whether doubles questions or wheelchair tennis questions are included.
The statistics tab shows you the number of tiebreaks you have won and lost and the number of winners and errors you have made in each question category.
The quiz can be played offline. No registration or login is required. All questions are correct as at June 2019.
